On a cold Thursday night in Aurora the Rangeview Raider football team hosted the Smoky Hill Buffalos where they put a thrashing on them 49-7.
There were many key highlight plays including a 94 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Junior Devante Wheaten. The Raider defense also put a beating on the Buffalos as they forced a combined total of 7 turnovers, 2 from Sr. Cornerback Larry Reed.
“This win gives us one win closer to the league title,” says Junior Wide Reciever Elijah Reed “it gives us momentum going forward.”
Indeed this win does give the Raiders momentum going forward. Next week on October 10th; the Raiders battle the Gateway Olympians and hope to return the anvil for the 5th straight year.
