On Friday October 3, the Boys soccer team improved to 9-3 overall and 6-0 in league with a dominant 4-0 shutout over Hinkley.

The hero of this game was not on the field or in the stands, but her presence was still felt at the game. On March 31, 2014 Sophomore Varsity player Jalen Sanchez lost his mother Sherry Sanchez to breast cancer. The game was dedicated to Mrs. Sanchez, all the players wore pink, and it was clear that they were not playing for themselves.

Following the Breast Cancer game, the Raiders extended their winning streak to 7 games, with a shutout over Aurora Central. The boys finished with six different goals from six different players. They now stand at number one in the EMAC League.

Their next game is on October 9 when tough league opponent Westminster visits.
