Last year the Raider Review first reported on a sextortion scandal victimizing much of the Aurora community. The Review’s reporting led to a vast criminal investigation and wide variety of reporting on all the aspects of the story. Recently, APD, along with other law enforcement organizations, arrested three individuals for the crimes. The Aurora Sentinel covered the story last week along with a gaggle of other news outlets, but also recognized the Review’s role in the process.
The following day, CBS Colorado interviewed former Raider Review journalists Aiyana Fragoso and Carolynn Ames about their work.
