The Hour of Code is a global event that takes place between December 8th and 14th. The program’s purpose is to make coding relatively simple and available to those who wish to learn it. The basics of code can be intimidating to some who are just starting out; the Hour of Code alleviates some of that fear. Though this is a global event that is organized by Code.org, schools and workplaces are invited to form their own gatherings to celebrate for the hour. Rangeview’s own Randy Mills, The Tech Coordinator and Cyber Patriot coach, has volunteered to supervise our own event on December 9th and 11th. Please join all of Cyber Patriot and other code enthusiasts this afternoon to celebrate the one thing that makes our electronic world go round: code.
