Heading into the Christmas week, the Lady Raiders basketball team stood at 3-3 with all three losses coming to tough opponents.
The Ladies were led by Sophomore Jaelin Jones who averages a team high 12.5 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, to go along with a flawless shooting percentage. Senior Desmond Allen and Sophomore LeShawn Love have had a huge impact scrapping in the backcourt, averaging a combined 19.5 points per game to go along with nearly four offensive rebounds per game.
On the defensive end, Junior Dominique Reed averages 2.6 blocks per game. Love and Jones combine for more than seven steals per game.
Over the course of the two and a half weeks off of school, the Ladies took tough losses to Mountian Range, and Arapahoe.
The Raiders look to bounce back January 6 against Thomas Jefferson at Rangeview High School.
