The Raider basketball team is on a four game win streak following a huge EMAC league opener win against Northglenn on Friday, January 23rd.

As the season approaches its midpoint, the Raiders are heading into league play, in which they are the defending 5A East Metro league champs and are front runners once again this year.

The Raider boys basketball team has been on a tear lately, beating the past 4 teams by an average of 17 points, making their record 10-5.

Sophomore Guard Elijah Blake (who tallied 13 points 6 assists and grabbed 9 rebounds in win against Northglenn) said, ” I think it’s still a progress, I think we all have one mindset right now to be the best in the state.”

“We played a tough stretch of 4 games but after the Northglenn win I think it proved that we’re getting better and will continue to fly under the radar until we make it to the playoffs.” said Blake

In order to keep this hot streak going, the Raiders will need to defeat their next opponent Adams City on Tuesday January 27th, at Adams City High School.
