Wrestling team to compete in APS Classic
January 28, 2015
Rangeview’s wrestling team’s battle with injuries has yet to improve. Although they beat heritage last week, they are missing four varsity wrestlers, forcing them to advance to the next match with JV wrestlers.
“I’m proud of the team. We have accomplished a lot and have beaten some great schools,” said Coach Corby, “but our main focus is getting our varsity wrestlers healthy for the second half of the season.”
Next Thursday the team is at Eagle Crest and will wrestle again that Saturday for the EMAC league Championships.
“I’m ready to compete. I have to put on for my team mates that are injured,” said varsity wrestler Darren Soloman. “I’m really looking forward to our match tonight.”
The team is at Gateway tonight to compete in the APS Classic.
