Movies:
Audiences were left with mixed emotions during the ending of Avengers: Infinity War. Directors, Anthony and Joe Russo plan on releasing Avengers: Endgame after Infinity War. Actor Chris Evans will reprise his role as Captain America, and actor Robert Downey Jr. will play Iron Man/Tony Stark. Other cast members will also be in the movie.
The movie is based on what the remaining Avengers are doing after Infinity War, and how they will stop Thanos and reverse the effects of his infamous snap.
Senior Jordan Alvaranga said, “I’m hyped for Endgame. There’s been a lot of buildup for it, but I don’t think I’ll be as excited for future Marvel movies.”
Toy Story 4 is directed by Josh Cooley and written by Andrew Stanton. Cooley has directed other movies such as Inside Out and Up.
Toy Story 4 revolves around Woody. After he has spent a number of years with Andy, he has finally settled with Bonnie as his toy owner. As Bonnie takes Woody and her other toys on a family trip, Woody reunites with his former girlfriend Bo Peep.
Senior Tallen Richards said, “I haven’t seen the trailer, but I’m excited to see it. I’ve enjoyed the other movies in the past, especially Toy Story 2.”
Music:
In the past few weeks, there have been a number of artists that have released trending music.
Ariana Grande is an American singer and songwriter who recently released the album, Thank U, Next. 7 Rings is a song on this album and it lands as #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Thank U, Next is another song on the album and is #7 on the chart.
Junior Zoey Reid said, “Thank U, Next is probably one of my least favorite songs because it has been played so many times. Other than that, I really enjoyed the album.”
Cole is an American rapper and singer. He released Middle Child on January 23rd, and it reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has released other songs and albums such as 2014 Forest Hills Drive, Cole World: The Sideline Story, Power Trip, etc.
Sophomore Griffin Muzylowski said, “J. Cole is taking over the rap game by storm. I can’t wait for his other releases.”
