After starting the season with a win against North high school the girl’s Lacrosse team has faltered and lost their fifth and sixth games back to back, falling to eighth ranked Thunder ridge in the league opener 21-1 and losing to former top ten ranked Regis Jesuit 21-2. The girls now fall to 1-6 on the season. The lady Raiders have been discombobulated by the defenses as of late. Only two different players have scored in the last two games and haven’t scored in the first half.

Regis had the lady Raiders numbers dialed up taking only 11 seconds to get their first goal on the board and adding another just 14 seconds later. Rangeview made some defensive adjustments but even that couldn’t stop the high paced offense of Regis Jesuit. Regis continued the onslaught and was quickly up by 5. Regis continued to pour it on and developed a comfortable 14 point lead at the half. Only after half could Rangeview get a hold of itself as they put up goals from Senior Autumn Paige and Junior Asia Khat, who added her second goal in the last two games.
The lady Raiders have a brief lull in league action and will look to get back in the win column on Saturday April 11th when they take on Kennedy high school at Denver East high at ten o’clock. Then on the following Tuesday they resume league play and play chaparral high school after school on the Rangeview turf.
