The Lady Raiders Soccer Season is starting out with a bang, coming off of another league win against Adams City 5-0 and also beating Thornton 2-0 making their EMAC record 3-0.
“There’s no way we could’ve beaten any of the teams without team work and the great chemistry the whole team has with each other,” said junior Nicole Perez. “We hope to keep this going for the rest of the season.”
Senior Carly Taphorn and sophomore Tay Ohu lead the team in most goals scored this season with three each, while junior Jackie McBride has chipped in 2 goals.
“I couldn’t have scored any of the goals if it wasn’t for the help of my teammates passing the ball around,” said Taphorn.
“I’ve received plenty of help from all the girls on the team,” said Tay Ohu. “A lot of relationships have been made since I’ve transferred to Rangeview; it is a great experience to play with everyone on the team.”
The girl’s soccer team takes on Brighton – also 3-0 in league play – at 7 p.m. this evening in Brighton. Go support your Lady Raiders.
