The boys and girls of the RHS track team have been running their tails off this year. It has been a very exciting year so far, and the runners have been competing very hard as usual.
There have been three track meets so far, the first being the “Aurora City Invitational” at the Aurora Public Schools Stadium where the Rowdy Raiders got 5th out of 10, starting off the season decently.
The Raiders then traveled to Greely where they would run in 8th place out of 27. Rangeview took an 11th place out of 20 in the most recent meet in Parker in the “Legend Track Clash.”
“My dad always told me if you’re not first, you’re last,” said Junior Josh Manaloto. “I have always wanted to not just compete in anything I do, but I want to win. I love winning.”
The Raiders next meet will be an EMAC league Championship on May second, so be ready to come out and support your raiders as we approach the end of the school year.
