Some of the most popular and talented rappers will be dropping albums before the end of 2024, including Gucci Mane, NBA Youngboy, Glorilla and many more. It’s widely known that Rap culture and music hasn’t been at its peak lately, so Rangeview fans are hoping these albums will be something to look forward to as they approach the end of the year.
Toosii, artist of famous single ‘Favorite Song’, had just released his album Jaded, which includes many features from famous names such asGunna, Kehlani, and Muni Long. His work includes mostly an R&B feel along with occasional rapping.
Next up is Glorilla. She has currently been on a come-up, releasing back to back hits in her last album, including Yeah Glo!, Wanna Be, All Dere, and Finesse Da Glo. Her album Glorious is set to release on October 11th of this year, which includes the song Hollon, and has already reached 3,751,770 streams on Spotify.
Rich the Kid, Famous Dex and Jay Critch will be collabing on an album also dropping on the 11th of October. These artists have made quite popular songs in the past, such as New Freezer ft. Kendrick Lamar and Japan. Jay Critch, a smaller artist, has been in the industry for about seven to eight years, even though his love for music began at a very young age. Rich Forever 5 includes 15 tracks which two have already been released; Big Dawg and Rich and Reckless.
Fourth on this list is Gucci Mane. This 44 year old artist has been in the industry for around 23 years, with some of his top songs including Both ft. Drake and Rumors ft. Lil Durk. His upcoming album, Greatest Of All Trappers, is set to be dropping on the 17th of October. Rangeview High School student, Lauren Forte, exclaimed, “He fell off but I want to see the new stuff he has coming out.”
Next up is Ken Carson, a more recent and new artist with a unique style of rap, is planning to drop his album More Chaos, this Halloween. William Stevenson, a Junior at Rangeview High School, stated, “ I’m really looking forward to this album, I enjoy his music”.
Stevenson is one of the 10.6 million monthly Ken Carson listeners on Spotify. His most popular track being Yale, was released during Covid and skyrocketed on many social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
Last but not least on this list, is the late and former artist, Juice WRLD. Sadly, this artist passed away at the young age of 21, during the peak of his career. His songs had a great effect on Gen Z rap and music, with his most streamed song being Lucid Dreams at 2,640,235,019. Even though he isn’t with us today, his legacy still continues to live on through his music. With that being said, Juice WRLD is expected to be releasing his album ,Party Never Ends, November 22nd, 2024.

Some artists that are planning to drop new music but don’t have a set date include; A$AP Rocky with Don’t Be Dumb. Aelyn Bencomo, Rangeview Student states, “This is one of my top artists and I’ve always been a fan of his music”.
Second, we have Baby Keem with Child With Wolves. Keem is most known for his song featuring Brent Faiyaz, titled Lost Souls. He has a total of 17.7 million monthly listeners.
Next, 32 year old Da Baby dropping Ghetto Superstar. In the past, he’s had two albums secure the No. 1 spot for Billboard 200, with one of them being, Blame it on Baby.
Well known artist J. Cole has two albums titled It’s a Boy and The Fall Off which are yet to be released. Darris Davenport, a basketball player attending Rangeview says he is extremely looking forward to these two albums. “I love his lyrics and flow”, he adds.
Another big rapper, Lil Durk, is expected to drop Love Songs For The Streets 3, but doesnt have a release date. Student of Rangeview, Saied Rosas, states, “He’s a good rapper and has multiple songs I like.”
Sixth, is Lil Uzi Vert with Luv Is Rage and Eternal Aake 2. His well known song, Just Wanna Rock, was taking over countless social media platforms, after its release in the summer of 2023.
Rapper from Louisiana, Youngboy Never Broke Again with I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders. “He’s my king, I have a whole playlist dedicated to his music”. Kevin Hernandez, Junior of Rangeview High School says.
And lastly, artists Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR are collaborating on an album titled Hometown Love but don’t know when that will be coming out. Drake and PND have made numerous successful songs in the past such as Recognize and Come And See Me.
