Three suspects have been arrested in a year-long sextortion case first revealed by the Raider Review last January. APD announced the main suspect is 18-year-old Jamir Deante Bright, who was arrested last Friday, December 5 on felony charges of child exploitation and criminal extortion.
Police did not identify two other minor-aged suspects aged 17 and 14 from Denver. Bright will be facing charges in the Arapahoe County District with the other two suspects facing charges in Aurora Municipal Court.
Bright did not attend high school in the Aurora Public Schools, but was known in the community, particularly online. Bright is currently out of jail on a low bond of $10,000 dollars.
This is a developing story with more to come.
