As of April 8th, Rangeview’s Baseball team has had their best start in over a decade. Through the first 10 games of the season they have won 7. Besides one loss they have been competitive in every game. On the mound they have been led by Emmanuel De La Torre, Ryan Luevanos, and Sebastian Heredia-Ruiz. With a team ERA(earned run average) of 3.50 their pitchers have been playing great. Individually, Luevanos is 12th in ERA in division 5a. Alongside him, Torre is 3rd in strikeouts in division 5a with 39. The team has a batting average over .250. Led by Anthony Reyes with an average of .474 in 19 at bats. Reyes also leads the team in hits followed by Derek Catalan. Another reason with the team doing so well is that they are well rounded throughout the field and very unlikely to make an error. As the team heads into league play their season looks bright and a playoff appearance is likely.
