Raiders volleyball is back for a new season, featuring new teams and players. With the loss of 5 seniors that led the team in almost every stat, the volleyball team has no choice but to come back stronger. Everyone has high expectations for them to fill after the amazing season they had last year.
Coach Desarae Powell stated, “Our team is looking promising this year. We have several returning veteran players as well as some new faces. So far, we have a great team full of enthusiasm and positivity for a fantastic season. Our goals include staying competitive within our league and representing Rangeview with pride, both on and off the court.”
Coach Powell seems very enthusiastic and has high expectations for both returning and new players. With that there are some players that had upped their game during the summer and has caused them to move up to Varsity The new additions include Kamilah Vigil, Ariana Marquez, and Keimora Prosser. With these new additions the girls are looking stronger than ever.
The entire team is ready for the season. They have high expectations and are looking forward to a good year. They are hoping to be able to bounce back from heavy losses and continue to improve.
