On a calm Thursday night in August, the Rangeview Raider team opened up there regular season with a 26-22 win against Westminster. This win was very significant due to the fact the Raider football has not won their opening game in 4 years. There were many key plays/highlights including an 82 yard fumble recovery touchdown by Senior Jaelon Wright and 137 rushing yards by sophomore running back Max Gonzales.
