On Thursday evening, in the drizzling rain, the Rangeview Boys soccer team beat rival Gateway for their first league win of the season.
Senior Jesus Morales was the hero of the game, scoring on a header that found the back of the net with seven minutes remaining in the second half to go up one nil.
Center Defender Senior Kenny Agbim said, “It was an important win because we beat our biggest rival, started league play off right, and bounced back nicely from a tough loss.”
The boys will continue league play on September 18 when they visit a tough Northglenn team.
