“Raider fans get on your feet, yell the words to the beat! Yell Rangeview…Raiders…. Rangeview… Raiders!” is a cheer Rangeview sports fans hear often from our cheerleaders, but today, our cheerleaders will be the ones receiving the cheers as they head to the state competition in Denver.
In their last competition, which was Winter Blast, they won 1st place and also got the highest score as a team, according to team members, and they also won the EMAC conference cheer title last month.

“My team is undefeated so far and I am so proud of us,” says Cheer captain Fetale Ali. “I am very confident for tomorrow (State competition), and I believe we will succeed. If we go in with the mindset and remain calm then we are definitely ready for state.”
Rangeview’s varsity cheerleaders alway put their all and work hard, Ali said. Whether it’s stunting, tumbling, cheering, or dancing, RHS cheerleaders do it all as if it’s a piece of cake, according to many.
“We all work really hard and we’ve been progressing so much throughout this whole season,” said varsity cheerleader Kaylan Bailey. “We are strong in the fact that we all encourage each other and push each other and when practice starts to get hard we never give up on each other. There’s so much encouragement on the whole team and everyone strives for the same goal.”
Ali and Bailey both said to be sure to go support Rangeview’s Varsity cheer team today at 3:30 pm at the Denver Coliseum.
