Seven Rangeview students are going to get a taste of the NFL this weekend as they play football vs. Ex- Denver Broncos. It won’t be on the turf, however; it will be a contest of Madden ’15.
“I am very excited and looking forward to it,” said Freshmen Dallas Pannell, one of the RHS students in the Madden challenge.
This Saturday is the very first annual “Play with the Pro’s” , which will be inaugurated at McCabe’s Irish Pub & Bistro in Southlands f rom 10 AM to 1 PM. The event will have retired Bronco’s players play the video game “Madden 15.”
The tournament can be seen live by the guests and the students will be able to network with like-minded people and enjoy appetizers and refreshments. The event will be for studentsf rom eight to eighteen years old with a disability that will be able to play with the Broncos’ players. There are only twenty students overall selected and seven lucky Rangeview students will be going this weekend.
The seven lucky Rangeview students that will be playing are: 10th grader Brandy Shover, 11th grader Nate Wade,10th grader Niya Downing, 11th grader Kaunnon Salter, 12th grader Robert Minor, 9th grader Bradley Acar, and last but not least 9th Grader Dallas Pannell.
