After traveling hours to Grand Junction last Saturday, the Rangeview Raider football team hosted a good Cherokee Trail football team this pass Saturday at APS Stadium. Despite playing at home, the Raider football team came up short losing 34-20.
Senior QB Quaid Vincent said,” It’s a tough one to swallow, it’s a game we’ve been working for all year, but I think the team is going to rebound strong. We’ve came off tough losses before and It did nothing but make us work harder the next week.”
Indeed this was a tough loss to swallow for the RHS football team considering the notable highlight plays like a 42 yard TD run from QB Quaid Vincent or a 20 yard TD catch from Junior Wide Receiver Elijah Reed.
The Team hopes to bounce back this Friday September 26, 2014 as they take on a league opponent Hinkley at 6pm at APS stadium.
