It’s never easy to play league games, but Rangeview’s tennis team starts off great with 7-0 win over Thornton and a 4-3 win over Northglenn. Junior Tremayne Joiner earned the title player of the game with an impressive come back to win his match against Thornton.
“Tremayne showed great heart and mental strength it takes a lot to come back and win.” Said head coach Zeb Carabello.
The team is really looking forward to their next league match especially now that they have some confidence. Although they are 2-0 in league they still have improvements that need to be made to become a great team.
“Singles need to be tougher mentally and doubles need to be more aggressive,” said Carabello.
The team plays Brighton High School on Thursday at home and is looking to advance their league record to 3-0.
