The Rangeview boys Soccer team visited a tough Adams City team on Tuesday September 23, in hopes of staying undefeated in league play. They accomplished that with the help, once again, from Senior Jesus Morales.
Morales scored the lone goal in the game, extending his streak of games with a goal to three. Morales said, “It was a big win for us, and from the time we got on the bus, the coaches were telling us that this game would determine the league championship. So I prayed that I could have a good game, and went out with a focused mindset, which paid off in the end.”
Sophomore goalie Jose Helguera was a huge factor as well, preventing Adams City from scoring on 20 shots, including a penalty kick that would have sent the game to overtime.
The Raiders look to continue their winning ways on September 25, versus another tough league opponent, Thornton.
