Mr. Brecht, one of Rangeview’s English teachers, was awarded 2016-17 teacher of the year. “Try to enjoy every day. Try to gain something from everyone you come in contact with… experience is the best teacher,” says Brecht. (Chris Arias)
Keeping with tradition, the social studies department has another teacher of the year. The 2016-2017 female teacher of the year is Mrs. Westerdale. “… A lot of feels. I don’t think I would have seen that (winning teacher of the year) five years ago,” said Westerdale. (Alivia Lee)
