The Raiders’ Unified Soccer team continues to be dominant. The Raiders beat Aurora Central last week 5-4 after coming back from a three goal deficit.
The Raiders are currently 2-1 going into this week’s game against Overland. Sophomore Manuel Flores got the game going after scoring two goals going into the half. Sophomore Michael Schumake, one of the leading players in stats, had this to say about about the team’s season so far.
“We are getting better every day and we have been winning which is good but we could always work harder and do better,” said Schumake.
The head soccer coach, Mrs. Warner, had a lot of positives things to say about the team.
“They have been playing well and are having so much fun, it is really fun watching them play,” she said.
The Raiders play again this week, come out and support them this Friday at 4:30 on the turf.
