Coming off of a tough loss Sep. 20th on Saturday, the Rangeview Raider Football team returned to the Friday Night Lights against league opponent Hinkley.
The Raiders cruised to an easy 44-8 victory over a decent Thunderbird team Saturday night on their homecoming weekend. The game was filled with great highlights including a key interception by Sr. Cornerback Larry Reed that sealed the league victory.
“Every league game is important,” said Sr. Linebacker Kane Vigil “but Hinkley is one of the better teams we play so beating them by 36 shows other teams in our league what we are about.”
With the confidence like this and a great support system from the Raider crowd, the Football team hopes to continue this winning streak October 2 at APS Stadium, when they take on a Smoky Hill football team for the RHS Homecoming game.
