Last week, the Rangeview Raiders won 2-1 against Cherokee Trail in the first round of the CHSAA state playoffs. Today, the Raiders go head to head with Hinkley for the second round of the playoffs. Hinkley finished their season 14-1-1 overall and 9-0-1 in the league, taking first. Rangeview finished second in the league. When Rangeview played Hinkley earlier this year, they tied 1-1.  Gallegos commented, “I feel like it’s going to be a tough game more because Hinkley will be going out there believing we are somewhat nervous or afraid of them because they’re the EMAC champs. I feel like we have to go out there and play our game as a team and win this game.” The game is tonight at 6pm at the APS stadium.
