November is here and there are a number of movies that will be in theaters. There is also music that is currently trending. With the recent economic success of Wonder Woman, DC Comics is planning on releasing Justice League, an upcoming movie that will be released on November 17th . The Justice League is based on the original comics with characters such as Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, etc.
With the rise of a new enemy, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), must form a team of heroes to defeat a new threat. Junior Jordan Alveranga
said, “Batman v. Superman was a total letdown, so I’m hoping Justice League doesn’t do the same thing.”
With last year’s release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, this year prompts the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, an upcoming movie that will be released on December 15th. The Star Wars franchise includes a wide arrangement of movies from Star Wars: The New Hope to the latest movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will begin where the last movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens ended. The premise of The Last Jedi is that the Rebels (Protagonists) from previous movies plan to do battle with the First Order (Antagonists). Alongside the Rebels is Rey, a Jedi in training who is learning to harness her new force powers.
Junior Lisitte Mora said, ”I’m really excited for the new movie because I think it will be interesting to see what they do with it. But I’m curious how everything will play out since Han Solo ‘died’ in the last movie.”
Music:
In the past few weeks and months, a number of artists have released new music.
Migos is a trio of three rappers known as Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo. Having released popular songs such as “Bad and Boujee”, “Slippery”, and “T – Shirt”, they have recently released a new song titled, “MotorSport”.
Junior, Benjamin Zapien, said, “The song is really upbeat and I really enjoy the music that is produced by Migos.”
Another artist who many people know is Russ. Primarily known for his hit song, ‘Losin Control’, Russ has also made a name for himself with his debut studio album, “There’s Really a Wolf”, which was released on May 5th.
In mid – September, Russ released a number of songs, one of them titled “Maybe”. Junior Maia Sandoval, said, “I really enjoyed this song because of its vibe and it can portray a strong message about how individuals can get lost in love or infatuation.”
The movies and music listed above have either been released, or will come out in the following weeks or months.
