Winning hasn’t always been easy for the Rangeview Raider boys basketball team, but their recent 10 game winning streak shows otherwise.
After losing 4 games in a row early in the season, the Raider boys’ basketball team has been on a tear, winning 10 games and continuing in a row, including a 7-0 EMAC league record as well.
“It boosts our confidence,” said Senior Jalen Davis who tallied 17 points and 3 assists in the win over Westminster Friday, February 13th. “We are really playing like we know we’re going to win every game. When it comes to playoffs it’s strictly about who wants it more.”
Coming into the home stretch of the regular season, the boys are sitting atop the EMAC league conference standings, eyeing another EMAC championship. During the 10 game win streak, the Raiders are outscoring their opponents by an average of 23 points, each game including a 70-25 rout of Brighton February 3rd.
In order to stay undefeated in league play and continue the win streak, the Rangeview basketball team will have to travel to Prairie View Tuesday, February 17th and to the annual Gateway rivalry game on Friday, February 20th.
The Raiders are also looking at receiving a 1st round bye in the 5A state playoffs with these next two wins and EMAC championship.
