The annual Anvil game between the Rangeview Raiders and Gateway Olympians ended with a rout by the Raider football team 44-0.

The Raiders ran up the scoreboard, including a Touchdown pass from Senior Quarterback Quaid Vincent to Junior Wide Receiver Elijah Reed, in which Reed grabbed the ball with one hand.

“The anvil is a big part of our team and school so it was a big win,” said Junior Linebacker Boaz Powell. “We just hope to keep this momentum going into the playoffs.”

The Rangeview Raider football team now sits at a 5-2 record with an undefeated league record and is eyeing the title.

Their next battle is against Arapahoe high school on Thursday night at APS Stadium, which is also Senior Night for all the seniors on the team.
